Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Pilotly gives you two separate options depending on what you want to do: delete your account, or delete the underlying data we hold about you.
Option 1: Delete Your Account (in-app)
Log in to Pilotly.
Go to Account Settings.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm the request.
This immediately deactivates your account and disconnects your Facebook, Google, and Shopify authorizations.
Option 2: Request Data Deletion (by email)
To request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, send an email to support@pilotlyapp.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request,” sent from the email address associated with your account. Data deletion requests can only be submitted by email; they are not processed automatically from within the app.
What We Delete
Your profile (name, email, photo).
Access tokens for your connected Meta, Google, and Shopify accounts.
Campaign, ad spend, and sales data we stored to calculate your profitability, in identifiable form (i.e., linked to you, your account, or your store).
Your automation rule configuration history.
What We May Retain
We may retain certain information (for example, billing records) for the period required by legal, tax, or accounting obligations, separately from your active account.
Before deleting your campaign, ad spend, and sales data, we may first strip it of any information that identifies you, your account, or your store (such as your user ID, email, account name, or store name), and retain the resulting anonymized, aggregated data (for example, average performance benchmarks across users) to improve Pilotly’s automation and analytics. Once anonymized, this data can no longer be traced back to you.
Timeline
We process data deletion requests within a maximum of 30 days of receipt, and will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
Disconnecting Only Meta (Without Deleting Your Pilotly Account)
If you only want to revoke Pilotly’s access to your Meta data without deleting your Pilotly account, you can do so from Facebook: Settings → Apps and Websites → find “Pilotly” → Remove.
Disconnecting Only Shopify (Without Deleting Your Pilotly Account)
If you only want to revoke Pilotly’s access to your Shopify store without deleting your Pilotly account, you can do so from your Shopify admin: Settings → Apps and sales channels → find “Pilotly” → Uninstall. Uninstalling the app from Shopify automatically revokes its access to your store data.
